Blue Raman Subsea Cable System

The Blue Raman Subsea Cable System is a state-of-the-art subsea cable system designed to offer unmatched route diversity and optimization. By utilizing the Tyrrhenian Sea corridor, passing through the Messina Strait, and laying the cable on the southern side of Crete, we guarantee complete diversification from all other existing cables in the Mediterranean basin.

Equiano Submarine Cable

EQUIANO is a 12 Fiber Pairs submarine cable system, connecting Portugal to South
Africa, along Africa’s Atlantic Ocean coastline. Equiano main trunk ends in Sesimbra CLS
(Portugal), an historical crossway of international cables, and in Melkbosstrand CLS
(South Africa) while initial branching units are Togo (Lome), Lagos (Nigeria), St Helena
(James Town) and Swakopmund (Namibia).

The cable stretches 15,000km and it is the Africa’s highest capacity cable, designed to
carry 144 Tbps, having approximately 20 times more network capacity than the previous
African cables. Great potential for its evolution plan: already in pipeline additional
branches to reach further markets in West Africa like Ghana and Morocco
